After more than ten years of missions work in Jordan, Tunisia, and Morocco, God began stirring our hearts toward a new assignment: returning home to help strengthen churches in America.


The story of Nehemiah gave language to that calling. Moved by the condition of Jerusalem, Nehemiah returned to help rebuild its walls. The people worked together, carrying tools for the work and remaining ready to defend what God had entrusted to them.


That picture inspired Sword & Trowel Ministries. The sword reminds us to stand firmly on God’s Word and remain faithful in prayer. The trowel represents the practical work of revitalizing and rebuilding.


Our heart is to stand beside pastors and congregations, helping them renew their vision, strengthen their ministry, and restore the spaces where people gather to worship and serve.
